Do I need to update my electrical panel or service?
Generally, no. We perform a load calculation based on your existing panel to find the safe amperage limit. If more power is needed, we offer an EVEMS installation or a 200-amp service upgrade.

What is an EVEMS?
An Electric Vehicle Energy Management System monitors your home's power draw. If you use heavy appliances (like an AC or dryer), it limits the charger’s power to prevent overloading your system and causing breaker trips.
Do I need a permit and ESA inspection?
Yes. In Ontario, an Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) permit is mandatory for all charger installations. As licensed electricians, we pull the permit for you, handle the scheduling of the inspection, and provide you with the final certificate for insurance purposes.
What types of chargers can you install?
We install all major brands including Tesla Wall Connectors, Grizzl-E, Flo, ChargePoint, and Emporia. Whether you have a NEMA 14-50 plug-in or a hardwired solution, we ensure it's installed to manufacturer and local code standards.
Can I buy my own charger for you to install?
Yes, provided it is certified for use in Canada. Please send us the details so we can ensure the correct wall outlet (14-50R or 6-50R) is ready.
